Here's A Delicious Recipe For Prawn Malai Curry.
Ingredients:
- 500 grams of prawns, cleaned and deveined
- 1 cup coconut milk
- 1 onion, finely chopped
- 2 tomatoes, pureed
- 3-4 green chilies, slit
- 1 tablespoon ginger-garlic paste
- 1 teaspoon turmeric powder
- 1 teaspoon red chili powder
- 1 teaspoon coriander powder
- 1/2 teaspoon garam masala
- 2 tablespoons ghee or oil
- Salt to taste
- Fresh coriander leaves for garnishing
Instructions:
1. Heat ghee or oil in a deep pan or kadai over medium heat. Add the chopped onions and sauté until they turn translucent.
2. Add the ginger-garlic paste and slit green chilies to the pan. Sauté for a minute until the raw smell disappears.
3. Add the tomato puree and cook for a couple of minutes until the oil separates from the masala.
4. Now, add the turmeric powder, red chili powder, coriander powder, and salt. Mix well and cook for another minute.
5. Reduce the heat to low and add the coconut milk to the pan. Stir well and let it simmer for 5-6 minutes, allowing the flavors to blend together.
6. Add the cleaned prawns to the pan and cook for 5-7 minutes or until the prawns are cooked through and turn pink.
7. Sprinkle garam masala over the curry and give it a final stir.
8. Garnish the prawn malai curry with fresh coriander leaves.
9. Serve the Prawn Malai Curry hot with steamed rice or naan bread.
